When you signed up for the Flat Belly Diet!, you completed a form to set up and
customize your profile. You provided some initial information, including your program
start date, your starting and goal weight and waist measurement, height, gender,
time zone, and diet and fitness preferences. You can use My Profile to change these
profile settings.
|

|
Viewing and Editing Your Profile
|
|
|
|
To access your profile:
- Click the My Profile link in the top right corner of the
main site, or click the Meet tab and then click the My Profile link on the
sub navigation bar.
- You can change the profile information displayed on the page. Please
note the following before you make any changes to your profile.
- Your Personal Information can be public or private. Select “yes”
or “no” at the bottom of the Personal Information section to indicate
if other members can see your personal profile information.
- You can change your program start date, but note that if you have
been following the program for a while and you change your start date you will reset
your program. All progress tracked so far will be lost and you will start over at
Day 1 of the 4-Day Anti-Bloat Jumpstart.
- The My Preferences section of the profile is where you indicate
which portions of your profile you want to share with other members, if any. Here
you indicate whether other members can see your weight loss progress, blogs, photos,
or video diary. You can edit these preferences at any time.
- Be sure to click Save Program Changes to save any edits you make
to your profile.

Blogging
|
|
|
|
Blogging is a convenient way to share what’s on your mind—your good
news, challenges, tips, and successes, with fellow Flat Belly Dieters. You can create
a blog, and allow other members to read it and even add comments to your blog, or
you can keep your blog private, so that only you can see it.
To access and use your blog:
- Click the MEET tab, then click My Profile.
- Click See Blog on the right side of the page.
- You will see the most recent blog entries on the page.
- To create a new blog entry, click “Write a New Blog.”
- Type in a title for your blog, and then start typing! One you’re finished,
click the “SAVE Changes” button (you can always come back and add to
an entry).

Photo Gallery
|

You can keep a photo gallery of up to 25 personal photos which you can keep private
or share with other members.
To upload photos to your photo gallery, click the See Photos button
on the My Profile page.

Journaling |
|
|
|
Keeping a personal journal is a proven method of ensuring success on a weight loss
program. In addition to recording the foods you eat in your Food Log, take advantage
of the site’s personal online journal to record what you do each day, what’s
working for you, and obstacles you may be struggling to overcome.
To access and use your personal online journal:
- Click the MEET tab, then click My Profile.
- Click See Journal on the right side of the page.
- You will see the most recent journal entries on the page.
- To create a new journal entry, click “Write a Journal Entry’
- Type in a title for your journal entry, and then start typing!
One you’re finished, click the “Save Changes” button (you can
always come back and add to an entry).
- If you’re stuck or having a hard time starting, use the “core
confidences” link to see a list of writing prompts to help get started for
the day!
- On the journal entry page, click the "View All Journal Entries"
button to see and/or edit any of your entries. On this page, you can click to print
out your journal entries.
