The Flat Belly Diet! exercise plan has you working six days a week with a day off
on the weekend. Within the period of a week, you will incorporate exercises from
each of three groups: cardio, strength, and abs. You’ll be doing cardio exercises
daily, in one of two forms of walking. We’re recommending walking because
it’s the easiest, most accessible exercise for people to do, however you can
apply these workouts to other cardio activities like cycling, swimming, jogging,
or cardio machines like stair climbers and elipticals. Additionally, every other
day, you’ll add either strength or ab workouts.
The cardio component of the workout has both fat blasting and calorie-revving walking
programs. Fat blasting consists of steadily paced walks that, if done properly,
are guaranteed to burn off your belly fat. The speed and intensity of these walks
will slowly increase as the weeks go on and you become more advanced. The calorie-revving
walks are set up to be executed in intervals, meaning periodic bursts of fast and
slow pace as a way of raising your caloric burn both during and after your workout.
Studies show that interval training keeps metabolism going long after the workout
is over. The intervals alternate brisk walking with short bursts of fast walking
at an intensity level that is comfortable for you.
The weight training component includes four combination moves geared toward firming
up your arms and legs and building muscle. The intention here is to kick your metabolism
into high gear and keep it here. By working multiple body parts at the same time,
you’ll burn more calories and complete our workout faster than if you exercised
body parts separately. Each of these moves also has a balance challenge so your
core will be getting a workout too.
The Belly-firming – or abs workout has exercises geared to flattening, toning,
and firming your belly. These include some traditional ab moves, core training exercises
and some Pilate’s moves. There’s also an advanced workout using a stability
ball.
The Flat Belly Diet! exercise program takes care of all your needs with a bundle
of exercises, and as promised, there’s not a crunch in the bunch.
